2nd HSII Symposium: HCTI Pre-Opening Symposium:
"From Students, for Students"

We are happy to announce the second symposium by the Hamburg School for Infection an Immunity, an annual event organized by PhD students around the topics of infection, immunity, and inflammation.
This year we are happy that our symposium coincides with the opening symposium for the Hamburg Center for Translational Immunology (HCTI) , and for that matter, our theme for this year is: Rising Stars and New Methods; and have hence invited young international speakers to share their new and interesting work.

1st HSII/HCTI Symposium "Latest Trends in Infection and Immunity"
The Symposium took place on November 15 and 16, 2023 at abaton Cinema in Hamburg. The event was organized by the first-year PhD Students enrolled in the Hamburg School of Infection and Immunity (HSII), affiliated with the Hamburg Center for Translational Immunology (HCTI) and kindly sponsored by the Else Kröner-Fresenius Stiftung .
During the two-days symposium, 90 PhD students and researcher gathered together to discuss several topics in the reseach fields of immunology, immunity and autoimmunity.
